Zaniklá sídla Moravy a Slezska - případová studie Dukovansko
Křížová, Adéla
The bachelor's thesis deals with the villages that disappeared due to the construction of the Dukovany nuclear power plant. The goal of the work is to create an educational trail that would resemble the earlier settlement. Furthermore, the change of the landscape structure and texture, the definition of the main landscape-forming factor and the influence of man are addressed in the thesis. The work consists of a literature search and research. The literary research discusses the topics of regional memory, the history of the cultural landscape, local identity, genius loci, defunct settlements and the cause of their demise. The re-search first describes the area of interest, describes the construction of the nuclear power plant and the displacement of the affected villages. Information about the villages is supplemented by brief demography, history and their historical appearance. Based on interviews with witnesses, the residents of Skryje and Lipňany were registered. This information was added to the drawings of the villages, where buildings were drawn according to historical aerial photographs. The change in landscape structure and texture and the fundamental influence of collectivization on this phenomenon were described. The location is sought after by tourists because of the nuclear power plant and the Mohelen serpentine steppe. The work includes a proposal for an educational trail that passes through all three defunct villages around the nuclear power plant.

The bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of landscape scene and landscape character issues with use and knowledge transfer into selected model area. The author divides the thesis into two parts, theoretical part, which consists of understanding the topic, studying the problematics and elaboration of literary research. The other part is practical, where the acquired facts are translated into real model area. The literary research looks into methods of evaluation landscape of several important landscape architects where the author tries to form her own point of view on the selected model area. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to evaluate landscape character and landscape scene on the selected model area and design landscaping in form of an ideological study. The model area is an intensively agriculturally used landscape of Pardubice region. Specifically, surroundings of municipalities Brloh, Mokošín and Jankovice, which are located 5 kilometres south from Přelouč, the district city. The landscape in this area flows smoothly from North, from river Elbe, to the foot of Železné hory (the Iron Mountains). In introduction of the practical part, the author of the thesis executes an analysis of primary, secondary and tertiary structure of the landscape. The outcomes of the analyses became guides for landscape design which aim to improve the landscape, increase the harmonious scale, increase biodiversity and to promote multifunctional use of the landscape.
Historical data analysis of the farming technique and the crop structure in the Stropnice interest area
SALLAIOVÁ, Věra
Agricultural cooperatives are the organizations of the agricultural companies. They were formed with the view to create the largest arable surfaces at the expense of the ecological problems; i. e. extinction of hedges and other natural protection. Than come to expressive decreases animals consequently. Organic agriculture is more considerate for the nowadays. This work was targed to the comparison of the changes in the crop structure in four agricultural farms along 10 years. The individual crop tract was chnging depending on their decrees. It is possible to say that the result is a tendency of the arable soil increase to the prejudice of pastures and grasslands.
Changes in landscape structure in the catchment of Kopaninsky stream.
VODOVÁ, Renata
The purpose of this work was evaluation of landscape structure in the catchment of Kopaninský stream in the second half of twentieth century. The land use was evaluated in years 1949, 1953, 1961, 1978, 1983 and 1992. The base for this work were land use maps 1 : 10000. The maps were processed in GIS (Geographical Information System).
Collectivization of agriculture and its projection to the landscape. Case study of cadastral area Široký Důl
Kocmanová, Pavlína ; Skaloš, Jan (advisor) ; Bartoš, Michael (referee)
Diplomová práce Kolektivizace zemědělství a její promítnutí do krajiny ABSTRACT I searched changes in the cultural landscape structure in the relation with social processes in the time period 1937-2010 in my thesis. The research refers to the second half of 20th century, or more precisely, to the era of collectivization of Czechoslovak agriculture. In consequence of collectivization, the landscape was ecologically devastated and overall the nature of Czech countryside changed. Analysis of the landscape structure has form of case study of cadastral area of Široký Důl. I interpreted landscape changes from historical aerial photos and then analyzed the changes by geographical information systems. The results of those analyses are indicators (landscape metrics), by which I interpreted conditions of landscape in particular time. I confronted the changes in the landscape structure with social processes, which are described in theoretical part of thesis according to background research. Result of my thesis is general story of particular landscape, whose structure changed fundamentally in consequence of collectivization of agriculture. Key words: landscape structure, collectivization, landscape metrics, GIS, cultural landscape, aerial photos, Široký Důl
Evaluation of suburbanization in Prague's hinterland - influence on landuse, landscape stability and structure.
Kubečková, Jana ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
Evaluation of suburbanization in Prague's hinterland - influence on landuse, landscape stability and structure Abstract The aim of this study is to evaluate the background of suburbanization in Prague, to evaluate the development of landscape, landscape structure and landuse. The first part of this work is devoted to analysis of domestic and foreign literature, which deals with suburbanization and evaluation of landscape structure. Another part is devoted to practical evaluation of the landscape using air photos and satelite pictures and orthophotos in three cadastral in 1994, 2004 and 2007. It concerns the cadastral Šeberov, Hole u Průhonic and Újezd. The evaluations are based on selected factors. It is found that the proportion of buildings and vegetations is increasing all the time and also found that for example scrub and forests were protected from new development. Furthermore, the most significant changes in land use were described and the landscape structure was evaluated according to selected factors. The outputs of this work were maps of land use in different years, maps of stable und unstable areas in different periods, maps of vegetation changes and tables summarizing the results of the evaluation parameters of the structure. Keywords: suburbanization, landscape structure, landuse, patch,...
Typology of land cover changes and landscape structure in the post-communist countries of the Central Europe
Kuna, Petr ; Romportl, Dušan (advisor) ; Lipský, Zdeněk (referee)
Study of landscape change is a subject of interest for a wide range of professional work both in the Czech republic and abroad. This thesis therefore does not give a simple description of the changes in the landscape, but rather focuses on the further synthesis of these findings and the subsequent creation of a typology of land cover changes and their impacts on landscape structure in the region of interest, including also its heterogeneity. It is therefore a process of allocated areas that formed and still form the same processes that lead to homogenization of the landscape, as opposed to its fragmentation. Area of interest is so-called Visegrad Group of countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland). There are four countries of the former Eastern bloc in Central Europe, which shared some relatively similar initial conditions for the further development of the landscape after the "release" of the regime change in 1989. The landscape began to develop in different way. Each country began a different way to approach a completely different landscape interfering in its development. Review starts with describing landscape development in the period up to 1989, when it was not too taken of the ecological functions and the importance of the landscape. This period was characterized by the...

Changes of landscape structure and scattered greenery in the Jistebnicko region
Štěpán, Jan ; Lipský, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Romportl, Dušan (referee)
The landscape has been profoundly affected by human activity for centuries and the consequences of this interference have been growing in scale with the rising demands of modern society. The processes leading to the landscape's homogeneity, or, on the other hand, its fragmentation, have been focus of many studies which then allow us to understand how the landscape functions in its entirety and are also significant for the process of spatial planning on the local level. The aim of this theses is to assess the changes done to land cover an landscape's (micro)structure with special focus on scattered greenery (non-forest woody vegetation), as well as to examine how these changes have been mapped into the cadastral municipality of Cunkov, located in the Jistebnická vrchovina highlands, throughout the last 180 years. It is then possible to analyze these changes using the GIS and historical materials from three time periods which were beforehand selected - the years 1840, 1953 and 2019. Microstructure of the landscape plays an essential role in landscape's dynamics and for its ecologic stability.
LOST LANDSCAPES OF CENTRAL BOHEMIA: EVALUATION OF CHANGES IN LAND USE AND LANSCAPE STRUCTURE
Mór, Jiří ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
This thesis deals with land use and land cover changes in two geographically close areas - - "Milovicko" and "Rožďalovicko". The thesis's main goal was to analyze land use / land cover changes between years 1836 and 2019 in the surroundings of Milovice town, where the military area called "Milovice - Mladá" was established in 1904 and dissolved in 1991, and in intensively-used agricultural area around small town Rožďalovice. The evaluation was mainly based on vectorized maps of so called Stable cadastre and on the data of current cadastre. Another goal was to analyze the development of landscape structure in surroundings of Rožďalovice, also between years 1836 and 2019. We aimed also to answer the question, if parcels of arable land in the stable cadastre could be considered as patches in the landscape mosaic. Based on three types of satellite data (PlanetScope, Sentinel-2 and Landsat 8) it was analyzed, how much landscape metrics and a description of landscape structure change in dependency on spatial resolution of remote sensing data. Satellite images from June 2019 were classified and then the landscape metrics, which characterized landscape structure, were calculated. Development of land use in Milovice surroundings differs from the trends of development of other (post)military areas as classes...
